National Weather Radar Modernization Feasibility Study
In the Kingdom of Morocco, adverse weather and flooding activity costs the Government millions of dollars annually, severely impacting the quality of life of its citizens and its ability to advance economic development. The impact of flooding in recent years illustrates the need for modernization of the country’s monitoring, weather forecast activities and the ability to respond. Innovative Hydrology provided consultancy as part of a feasibility study funded by The United States Trade and Development Agency (USTDA). Innovative Hydrology provided consultancy in the evaluation of an upgraded and expanded weather radar network, which would increase coverage throughout the Kingdom of Morocco.
